This is a full grain leather with a full impregnation of wax on European hides. This has a strong dark color but when stretched it changes to a brown color. When relaxed the appearance goes back to a dark brown. At times there are natural scares that will appear when the leather is stretched. They are tanned in Italy using traditional tanning recipes with contemporary machinery and environmental standards. The average size is 55 sf.

Chaucer Is a full-grain aniline leather on European hides. Chaucer hides are dyed a light color and then many layers of hand-wiped aniline stains are applied to create a leather that has an old world appeal. The light base gives the leather the depth needed to create this vintage look. Chaucer hides are hand-wiped in Italy using old world techniques. Color variations should be expected from the swatch to the order. No two hides will be exactly the same due to the fact that the leather is created entirely by hand. A clear coat is added for protection. Healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles will be apparent throughout the leather furniture. Chaucer hides average 55 feet and will fade with prolonged exposure to the sunlight. Chaucer is a great leather for heavily used areas.

This is a full-grain semi-aniline with a wax impregnation leather on European hides. The wax impregnation gives the leather a slight "Pull-Up" effect in order to give it the old western look. They are tanned in Italy using traditional tanning recipes with contemporary machinery and environmental standards. Thickness: 1.1 - 1.3 mm (2.75 - 3.25 oz)
